Looks the grist in the 'ol rumor mill just keeps on getting gristlier. PhilMusic just received an e-mail from a listmember on the Eraserheads mailing list. The name and address looked familiar - and indeed belong to a member of a band that has had quite a few hits, including an Eraserheads cover tune. In the e-mail, our musical informant confirms the reunion, after a talk with Buddy Zabala himself.

And without further ado, here is the e-mail:

Just to give finality and to put to rest the few remaining flickerings of doubt so to speak, on whether the whole One Night Eheads reunion is indeed pushing through - aside from all the obvious media hoopla and inside info from a lot of the listers here,  my band and I just now came from an endorsement photoshoot for a corporate brand, which incidentally also billed The Dawn as its endorser, and bumped into one of my idols Buddy Zabala, and he indeed confirmed the concert is truly true and pushing through, and that they already have scheduled practices.

Just thought I would share with you people, though I would appreciate it if in case you decide to share this to the other listers as well, if you could retain my anonymity as the source, out of respect for Buddy, since I am under the assumption that when we were conversing earlier, he was revealing to me in confidence.
