Hardcore Wolfgang/Razorback fan Aleck Pulido cross-posted some really interesting news on these two bands on their respective mailing lists - citing a "100% reliable source". Well until someone from these bands' camps comes forth and denies them (and no one has piped up so far), we're listing them down here. Great news if it was all true, eh? But something about the list has the raw funky smell of authenticity about it.
Let's go through the items, now shall we?
1. First up: A Wolfgang-Razorback US Tour. Rumor has it that the bands will be touring seven US cities from the latter part of November 2007 till the early part of December. Cities mentioned include San Diego, San Francisco, New York, and four more. Tour schedules to be announced soon. Is that you, Haro and Schizo?
2. San Francisco-based Basti Artadi will be back in the Philippines taping an ad for a clothing line. Fashionista!
3. The much-awaited "Alive 2007" album recorded at the Music Museum early this year will finally be released before the the year ends.
4. There might be an "Alive 2007" DVD - depending on some pending copyright issues involving Wolfgang material, and the cover songs performed.
5. It's Razorback's 17th anniversary! The band is planning an anniversary gig sometime October at Louie's Theater in Makati.
6. A new batch of Razorback songs will be released this month, premiering at their Saguijo gig on September 29.
7. Razorback was invited to join "Rock The World", the big annual music fest in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia held December 16. Razorback will be the first ever Pinoy band to grace this big event.
Well that's it. Aleck, if none of this is true, you owe us a case of beer, man! |
